• 1. What is the criteria for obtaining a GIS service?
  

  The use of GIS services is restricted to the organizations of state Government at various levels right from State to District & Sub-Districts.

• 2. My organization have permission to access the GIS service, Can I use the same service for other purposes/application?
  

  No. A separate request has to be placed.

• 3. What’s the duration of GIS services usage?
  

  At the time of submitting request, proper duration needs to be specified. Normally, validity of the service is 60 months.

• 4. How many times I can apply to get a particular service deployment server?
  

  User Departments/Organization can apply to get a particular service for staging server as many times as required provided the request is coming from HOD.

• 5. - What is the validity of GIS service used in application in deployment server?
  

  The validity of GIS service used in application in deployment server is for 60 months.

• 6. When do I need to submit Authorization letter?
  

  The Authorization letter required for the application deployment in the deployment server.

• 7. Who has to sign the Authorization Letter?
  

  The head of the organization needs to sign the Authorization Letter.

• 8. Where do I send my Authorization Letter?
  

  Authorization Letter needs to sent to Secretary, IT department, Government of West Bengal.
